Development Engineer

As a structural engineer, he developed a strong passion for parametric design methods and had the opportunity to work on several intriguing projects. Throughout this time, he encountered the common challenge of evaluating wind loads on complex, non-standard buildings. This experience sparked his interest in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and its application in structural engineering, which led to a shift toward research and later became the focus of his PhD studies.

He now works as a developer on Pangolin and FALCON, where he combines engineering insight with advanced computational tools to push the boundaries of structural design.

She is committed to finding efficient solutions that improve team workflows and support users in working more effectively. With a focus on clarity and usefulness, she develops informative resources and actively contributes to testing and documenting new software features to benefit the wider community.

Who is this training for? Do I need prior experience to join?

This training is designed for structural engineers in all professional levels. No prior experience with Consteel is required.

What do I need to participate?

You will need a computer with Windows operating system to complete the training. Participants also must have:

– An active Consteel license with Consteel 18 installed. If you don’t have an active license yet, you can participate in our training with a 30-day Trial version for free.

What is the schedule and format of the training?

– Date: 22 October, 2025
– Duration: 1 day (6 hours)
– Location: Online via Microsoft Teams

What are the conditions for participation?

To join the training, you’ll need to:

– Register and complete payment before the application deadline (15 October, 2025).
– Ensure you have the required software installed (Consteel 18).
– Have a stable internet connection and Microsoft Teams for online access.

I don’t have an active Consteel license. Can I participate in the training?

If you don’t have an active Consteel license, you can request a 30-day Trial version for free from our website.

When will the extra Consteel trial period start?

The extra 30-day Consteel trial period will begin as soon as you request the trial version from our website.

Will video or other learning materials be available after the training?

– The video of the training will be available for 1 month from the date of the training.
– Participants will have access to example models from the training.
– Participants will also receive the handout material of the training

What if I can’t attend the training?

Live participation is required as this is an interactive course. If you’re unable to attend, we can reserve a spot for you on a future training date. For more details, please refer to our Terms of Participation.

Are there any discounts available?

Yes, we offer several discounts:

– Do you have Pro Membership? In this case you will receive a 20% discount on the price of the training.
– For our Premium Membership users, we offer 40% discount on trainings.
– Are you attending as a group? When multiple participants register from the same company, we offer a 50% discount on the NORMAL full participation fee for additional people starting from the second participant.

VAT / Invoicing information

– Companies with the valid EU VAT number, no VAT is charged.
