Who is it for?

This opportunity is for those in higher education who are using Consteel for their studies, writing their thesis or dissertation, doing their research, or teaching with it. You can access the software for free with online protection by proving your educational or institutional status during registration. The software is available for educational use, ensuring secure, cloud-based access to Consteel features while preventing unauthorized usage.

Support and Additional Services

Educational licenses based on their type come with access to Pro/Premium-level membership, offering priority assistance for technical issues, troubleshooting, and personalized guidance.

Watermark

The use of the software for commercial purposes or the transfer of the license to third parties is not permitted. The “Non-commercial” watermark appears on the documentation, clearly indicating that the license is intended for educational and non-commercial use only.

License Renewal

The educational license is valid for 6 months and can be renewed each semester with valid proof of student or educator status. Once the license expires, you can request it again to ensure continuous access to the software throughout your academic career.

Must-Have Requirements

To request the educational license, the following documents are required:

Students:

A validated student ID;
or certificate of studies issued by your institution;
or a screenshot of your institution’s electronic system, where your active student status is clearly visible

Students writing a thesis:

A validated student ID;
or certificate of studies issued by your institution;
or a screenshot of your institution’s electronic system, where your active student status is clearly visible
and thesis description

Lecturers, educators, researchers:

A valid university/institutional email address.
If you do not have such contact information, please send us your educator/researcher/LinkedIn profile or write a few lines about how you intend to use Consteel for educational or research purposes.

These documents are necessary to confirm your eligibility and ensure access to the software for educational purposes. Please note that no other documents will be accepted.

How to request an Educational license?

To request an Educational license, you must first register on the Consteel website. Once registered, log in to your account and navigate to the account section where you can submit your request for the Educational license.

1. Click on the login button on our website.

2. Click on register and sign up to our website with your email address. If you are a researcher or lecturer in a faculty of civil engineering, register with your educational (edu) or institutional (college or university) email address. Check our verification email and verify your email address. If you haven’t got our verification email, please contact us.

1. Log in and go to your Account/Subscription tab and scroll down for the Educational licenses.

If you are a civil engineering student at a college or university, request a Student Plan.
If you are already working on your thesis, choose a Graduate Plan.
If you are a researcher or lecturer, choose an Academic Plan.

2. If you are a student, you will need to upload some documents:

the two sides of your valid Student ID (or certificate of studies issued by your institution,
or a screenshot of your institution’s electronic system, where your active student status is clearly visible). Approval may take 1-3 days. We will inform you via email.

If you are are already working on your thesis, you will need to upload photos from

the two sides of your valid Student ID (or certificate of studies issued by your institution,
or a screenshot of your institution’s electronic system, where your active student status is clearly visible)
and your Thesis description

Researchers or educators will have to give the University or institution name.

Download Consteel from here and you can use it with your registered email and password for 6 months.
